Where does it come from?

Despite its name, the plant does not originate in Hawaii. It is native to the Indian subcontinent, and can now be found in many parts of the world, including Hawaii, Africa, South America, and the Caribbean.

Hawaiian Rose seeds have long been used in religious ceremonies in Hawaii and parts of South America, for their hallucinogenic effects.
